Jayabrata Mukherjee

Managing Director

B.Sc., MBA . In 1987, the family owned company entered into the arena of renewable energy and Mr. Mukherjee had to lead a team of engineers to develop industrial sized biomass gasification plant and its gas cleaning system based on the basic engineering package from an overseas consultant. Under his leadership, a continuous 24x7 operating system could be developed with special emphasis on rice husk gasification. He implemented more than one hundred numbers of various industrial projects involving innovative applications of producer gas includingco-generation. Mr. Mukherjee has wide experience of over 33 years in the field of finance, marketing, operations, strategic planning as well as execution of various projects. He is also attached with several technical and social organizations.

Jayprakash Harilal Jangada

Director , Technology

M. Tech (mechanical), having rich experience while working for Thermax Ltd. in India and UK for 35 years and retired as VP, Technology. After retirement also he served the same company for 5 years as Advisor to CMD. During this tenure, he developed expertise in design, project management, costing and programming. He is well known and highly respected in the Industries as an expert for waste heat recovery process.

Swati Bhattacharya


Presently serving as the Vice President of General Motors India. She is a marketing communications strategy professional with 20 years of experience in corporate relations, branding, internal and external communications, market creation experience and accomplishments in diverse fields such as Engineering, Technology, FMCG and Retail sectors. She is also a founding member to the Asia-Pacific Association of Communication Directors, Honorary Regional Director at CASI (CSR & Sustainability Institute), a global certification body for CSR and sustainability and Winner of the ABP News Women Super Achiever Award for Brand Excellence, supported by World Marketing Congress.

Hirendra Chandra Chakrabarti

B.Sc., B.Ch.E., a Life Fellow of the Coke Oven Manager’s Association, UK, started his career with Central Fuel Research Institute, Dhanbad and worked for 17 years. Also served Coal India Ltd. for 18 years as a key technical expert & retired as General Manager. Shri Chakrabarti published about 100 papers and 20 reports for Indian as well as overseas journals. He also possesses two nos. of patents on coal carbonization and coke making

He was a Director in the board from 1987 to 1992, and as Executive Director from 1992 to 1996. He led Thermax group as CEO & Managing Director from February 1996 to July 2000. He is now the Founder & Managing Director of EcoAxis Systems Pvt. Ltd. and in the Board for many prominent companies

N. V. Nagaraja Rao

Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a graduate in commerce with a University rank from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. He has over three decades of global experience in corporate finance. He has worked for more than 20 years in large Corporates. In the last 12 years he has his own practice as Corporate Financial Advisor; consulting on a variety of Projects and companies across several countries. He has mentored about 40 companies in clean energy and energy efficiency across Asia, Europe and Africa. Many of these projects won the best business plan award at the Investors meet and achieved financial closure. He is also the Asia Regional Coordinator for Climate Technology Initiative - Private Financing Advisory Network (CTI PFAN). CTI PAN is a multilateral public private partnership. PFAN mentors climate resilient projects in developing countries and facilitates project funding. CTI PFAN is hosted and managed by United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Nagaraja has represented CTI PFAN in several national and international forums.

Dr. N. D. Joshi

During his tenure, he served as the Head of R&D, headed its UK divisions as well as a Member of Executive Council. He was also a Director of Thermax Ltd. In his career he invented a number of products and systems and he was awarded prestigious National Award from the Government of India for developing an energy saving product
